The Big Mountain Commercial Association is a non-profit public trade association that raises funds to pay for common services and programs.  These include funding for the SNOW bus, Big Mountain Road winter maintenance, the Big Mountain Summer Festival, Big Mountain Brewfest and the Winter Winefest.

A) To build cooperation and be a community forum for the development of new ideas and projects that will enhance the image of Big Mountain, Whitefish and the Flathead Valley as a local, regional and destination resort.

B) To provide and maintain cooperative funding sources which will pay for common needs such as transportation, Big Mountain Road winter maintenance, and other programs and services.

The SNOW Bus Winefest is February ?? 2009 from 6 to 9 PM at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake.

Big Mtn Summerfestival was July 19 & 20,2008 A great art and music festival in the village on the Mountain

Brewfest is August 23, 2008 from 3 to 7 pm.  A plethora of great brews.  On the Mountain in the village.  The Good Wood Band will play.  Pre-sale tickets are $20, day of the eveny $25.  Call 862-2900 or the Whitefish Chamber at 862-3501 for ticket sales.  The SNOW bus will provide rides from the Mountain Mall to the village starting at 2pm hourly, last leaving the village at 7:15pm
